You’ll leave the room and lose your progress in this game. An unfinished game won’t count as a completed-game total. Previously saved scores stay in your journal.
Each round, seal a code for someone else. A different opponent’s code comes to you. Use the clues to open it before time runs out.
Green ✓ is the right place. Light yellow ↔ is the right character, elsewhere. Muted × is absent or an extra copy. Fully ruled-out letters disappear from the letter bank; remaining letters grow. Repeated characters are counted only as often as they exist.
Rounds 1–3: must be a real word. Rounds 4–5: guesses can be random letters — no real word needed. Round 4’s hidden answer is animal → color, with 10 letters maximum. Round 5 adds a fruit or vegetable, with 18 letters maximum. The real category words are joined in that order without spaces. Match the total number of letters shown; each word’s length stays hidden.
Finish early to watch up to two unfinished humans with the most progress. Only submitted guesses are shared—not secrets or typing.
400 for exact placements. Crack it for300 more, up to200 for unused tries, and up to100 for speed. Every round has the same maximum.
Invite 1–8 humans. With 1–5 humans, House opponents join automatically to make six code-makers. You crack House codes as well as human codes, with five different authors each game. With 6–8 humans, everyone faces other humans. House solvers see only their own guesses and clues, never your secret.
